VideoPros is a community of professionals and a marketplace for premium videos. The quality of the community is determined by everyone. Whether you have a High Definition addiction, bleed Red Camera, sleep at your Final Cut Pro editing station or simply love great video – this community is for you. Please respect its integrity and professionalism. That’s what makes it special.
VideoPros features the most robust directory of video professionals in the world. To have your profile listed in the directory you must qualify as a "video pro."
A video pro is an individual or business shooting, editing, producing and/or distributing professional video with commercial intent or business value."
We’ve established a video review process to maintain the quality of the videos in VideoMarket. Skateboarding dogs, wedding bloopers and videos of Uncle Ned singing in the rain are not professional videos. Do not try to license them. VideoMarket is for professional videos only!
Everyone has a different idea of what defines a "professional video." For the sake of the community we’ve created a short definition to help us review submitted content. If you’d like to submit your ideas about what “defines a professional video,” we’d love to hear from you.
We review all videos that are submitted to VideoMarket. If your video is not posted and you think it qualifies please post in the forums. When there is a professional disagreement we let the community of video pros around the world decide what is and isn’t professional.
For more information about content licensing please see our Licensing Agreements.
When you create something original, you own the copyright for it. Likewise, when other people create content, they may have a copyright to it. As a creative community of professionals, you must respect the copyrights of others. If you’re not sure if something will violate someone’s copyright, the safest thing to do is to create something completely original, with images and audio you’ve created. If it’s all yours you never have to worry about copyright—you own it. If you’ve obtained a video, recorded something from a DVD or downloaded a video online, DO NOT upload or license it unless you have express written permission from the copyrights owner.
If you are a copyright owner of a video and think it is being used on VideoPros without your permission, please follow these directions.
